• It – There
5 Read the theory.
• We use:
There + be to say that someone/something exists. There is a school
on my street.
• It + be to say who a person is. There’s someone at the door for you. It’s
your neighbour.
• It + be for: distance (It’s a ten-minute walk from my house to the
library.), temperature (It’s very cold in winter.), time (It’s half past
three.), weather (It’s cold today.)
6 Fill in with it or there. Write in your notebook.
